Paul Edelstein
Paul Edelstein is a third-generation lawyer focusing on personal injury, medical malpractice, and civil practice.
He is a partner at The Edelsteins, Faegenburg and Brown in New York City. Paul graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1995 and was admitted shortly after.
In 2017, Edelstein secured a settlement of $22 million for boxer Magomed Abdusalamov, who several years earlier sustained severe brain damage after negligent care following a match at Madison Square Garden.
Edelstein’s broader efforts on behalf of athletes in violent sports led to his recognition as a leading proponent of proposed legislation known as Mago’s Law, which would establish protections for these athletes.
More recently Edelstein’s won in a groundbreaking judgment against Harley-Davidson, which was ordered to pay nearly $300 million in damages to an upstate New York Man, after Harley’s popular three-wheeled trike malfunctioned in a fatal accident.
Over the course of four years, as Edelstein and his team tracked repeated negligence on the part of Harley and uncovered similar cases involving the trike across the country.
